Polito`s in Soutd Bend

The meat on my phila cheese steak was overcooked and dry.

Chicago style deep dish was decent, but really just a “poser”. Looked good, tasted good... until you got to the crust. It was HUUUUGE... way, way, way too much dough/crust.

they have raised their prices super high.this was a good restuarant at one time. but not anymore.there was a time whenever I would go they would always have people there eating. the last few times there was hardly anyone and each time they prices keep going up.we went in dearing prime time dinner hours and there was only 2 other people there.will never ever go back. just not worth the money they want to charge.really sad used to go all the time but it's just not worth it anymore.

I love all the food I've had there, especially the 16 pound stuffed pizza.

Not too bad of a place to get a pie, but it can be a little expensive.

Unfortunately disappointed in how Polito's has diminished in the past year. Use to be awesome food, awesome service and a clean environment. Things has really changed for the worst.

This place is awesome. Food and service are excellent. But be careful the portion sizes are generous! Rigatoni with vodka sauce is off the hook!

we order the Sicilian pizza alot... but last night something was different, the bottom of the crust was dry and not caramelized like it had been in the past... the cheese was different also... it had a very salty taste to it... i'll give it one more try, and thats it....

The cheese bread was the best I've had. It tastes like a homemade bread and marinara sauce. The deep dish is very deep and is better than Gino's east in chicago. Definitely a must if you're in the mood for a good cheeseylicous 'za.

This place is a pizza museum as they prepare pizza in at least 5 different styles from thin to the monster stuffed pizza with each slice weighing 2lbs, mmmmm

Best "Jersey Style" pizza in Michiana that I've found so far.Helpful staff to help me get what I desired. Thin pizza with a spicy sauce. To accomplish this, they put their spaghetti/marinara on the pizza. At that point, it is like home in New Jersey.They also have a "vodka sauce" that is quite tasty with their breadsticks. Could dine on this all day.But if you want Chicago thick style, be careful what you ask for. There are two types, and one of them is horribly wrong.Excellent place, I would highly recommend, even with my flawed Chicago style. The Jersey style more than makes up for anything they could do wrong.

Great dinner date spot, we had the Chicago style cheese pizza and added pepperoni also we ordered the chicken Caesar salad and bread sticks all were bomb

Great deep dish pizza! First time there and will not be the last. Wings were great with out food. Staff was friendly and provided great service. Highly recommend! Take the family and friends.

One of my local favorites for pizza and breadsticks. Good place to meet friends, enjoy food, and catch up on what's been happening in our busy lives.

Chicago style pizza. Not really more of a deep dish pizza. Crust was about 1” think with toppings on top with the cheese on top. It was a good pizza but just not a Chicago.

Visited here after a matinee viewing of the last Star Wars installment and was very satisfied with the pie. we got the thin crust and it was delicious! Toppings were plentiful, cheese full of flavor and the crust was very good. Highly recommend!

Ordered 2 different pastas and both of them were flavorless and bland. The vodka in the vodka sauce was not cooked off completely, the Alfredo sauce tasted like sour cream as well. This was a birthday dinner and it was very disappointing to say the very least. I have had the pizza in the past with no issues whatsoever but, I suppose pastas are not this restaurants strong suit.

I’m from NY and was told about Polito’s from a friend that lives near the restaurant. I was told that the food was good, so I went and tried it out. Good is not the word that I would use, it’s GREAT. I had their thin crust pizza and I thought I was in NYC. I never had pizza that tasted that good away from NY. Several days later, I went back and had their baked ziti, and that was delicious. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and the owner, Becky, was hands on to make sure we had a good dining experience. I can’t say enough about this place, I was in town for a week and ate there three times, the food and service was the same all three times, Great.

We love their thick crust pizza and their pasta with vodka sauce! Never gets old.

Staff is very friendly, pizza was hot and fresh, stuffed pizza had no sauce inside and was kinda bland.

Pizza was sooo good from NJ living in Indiana over a year now this place has the best pizza here by far the other places are good but this one was like pizza from back at home My boyfriend recommended Polito's he had the meat lover stromboli his favorite . We will be coming back again also great service.

I am soooo disappointed on politos's pizza I order alot here I loved the place not unti, I Found an Ant inside my pizza box on my pizza in it ,also order Zeppole which I order all the time but this order I got was in a hugeee bag with 5 small donut sizes called to find out why they were like this I always got them in small pieces the girl on the phone was not nice at all their is a girl on the phone complaint about the Zeppole is what she said that is not customer service in her tone of voice she used!! SO with that being said ant in my pizza & rudeness I will not be a customer no longerrr...

Went there for lunch. Ordered pasta ahead. Was told 10 min. When I got there it was not very busy. Stood at counter for five minutes before someone came over. Took my money and told me it would be out soon. Took another ten minutes and the pasta and sauce were not even hot. Lukewarm at best. Think it was owner or manager who made my order as pizza maker was only doing pizzas. Outside of restaurant had a lot of garbage that hadn't been cleaned up. Might go back and try piza some time. Maybe not.

First time here. Waiter Daniel was very busy running around but was very attentive to everyone. We never had an empty cup. Food was delicious and we have take home boxes for tomorrow night.

Their food is good. I ordered the Philly steak supreme. It was smaller than I thought it was going to be, but I had ordered fries with it instead of the chips that come with it, and it was enough for me and my guy to get full on. It made 2 plates 😊 their fries are soft 😊 it's not a cheap place. And the menu says that some pizzas can take an hour to make, so watch out for that if you plan on pizza 🍕

weve had pizza and vodka sauce pasta and garlic bread all top of the line! Beyond average stuff here. you can tell the ingredients are real and freshly prepared in the sauces and meals. all good here!!!!!!!

Very disappointed in the food I order bacon and cheese fries it was like having a small from McDonald’s all the money we spent plus we order different Stromboli’s they put them in the same box so if I get sick from eating mushroom it’ll your fault ridiculous so don’t order fries from them $4.00 for an it’s like a small fries

New York inspired pizzas, stromboli, calzones and more in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Their website describes them as unfussy, and that's exactly what they are. This is a good place for a reasonably priced NY style pizza. The pizza is great, the servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is really low key. Try the vodka sauce!

I don't know if they changed recipes or Cook but definitely wasn't the same as times past on our visits. Pizza was average at best. Pretty sure they brought the wrong pizza. Then when it was delivered it was missing a piece. We were told it fell off but they would make us another to replace it. Yeah not so much. They couldn't get that right either. Probably won't be back.

This no frills family run neighborhood business still has some of the best pizza of all time! Try it if in the South Bend area.
